The launch of the charter for Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030” took place in Lisbon at the Oceanário de Lisboa on the 30th of June 2022.
Members States, regions, and relevant stakeholders were invited to discover the charter and further engage with actions for a successful implementation of the Mission and its lighthouses.
Among participants were Charlina Vitcheva, Director-General, DG MARE, European Commission, Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, European Commission, Jose’ Maria Costa, Secretary of State of the Sea – Economy and Sea Ministry, Carlos Moedas, Mayor of the Lisbon City Council, and Maria da Graça Carvalho, Member of the European Parliament.
