Supporting an Enabling Environment:
Business Models, Regulation and Financial Ecosystem
Work Package 5 aims to support the creation of the enabling ecosystem required for the Mission goals from a regulatory and economic perspective, which accelerates the private and public investments needed in future projects.
Work Package Objectives
Screen and showcase validated business models, that can be used by future Light House projects to generate public and private investment in solutions developed by projects.
Identify regulatory barriers and enabling conditions to facilitate successful implementation of solutions developed by the Mission.
Create awareness amongst stakeholders of the different funding sources available to them the support the coordinated uptake of these opportunities to further Mission goals.
Provide the Blue Economy business community, regional authorities and policy makers with evidence of good practices and innovative approaches to unlock public funding and private investment to advance the EU Mission Ocean’s objectives.
