The European Ocean Days is a week-long event with a series of dynamic and interconnected sessions relevant to maritime topics. Each day features distinct sessions focused on various key ocean-related themes, allowing participants to engage deeply with sustainable blue economy, considering fisheries science outcomes, showcasing Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters actions, blue investments, and dialogues with key stakeholders, including youth.
Alongside the other Mission Lighthouse CSAs, PREP4BLUE will have an active presence, as we work to share the latest project updates and results with Mission stakeholders. Across the week, you will find us at the following events:
Monday, 3rd March
During the ‘Waves of Collaboration – Matchmaking for the Mission to Restore Ocean and Waters by 2030’ event, PREP4BLUE will host two distinct, back-to-back workshops.
1. ‘Monitoring and Indicators’ – Based on the outputs of PREP4BLUE’s Work Package 4 and leveraging the Knowledge Management expertise of project partners ERINN Innovation, this workshop will explore how we can harmonize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and approaches to support the development of a joint Mission Ocean and Waters monitoring framework.
2. ‘Supporting an Enabling Environment’ – Based on the outputs of PREP4BLUE’s Work Package 5 and the extensive research carried out by partners, this workshop will focus on how we create the enabling ecosystem required for the Mission goals from a business, regulatory and economic perspective, and how we can accelerate the private and public investments needed in future projects.
