The Institut de Ciències del Mar (ICM) is the largest research institute of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) dedicated to marine research. The ICM is located in Barcelona, Spain and, under the motto “Ocean Science for a Healthy Planet” it conducts cutting-edge research and fosters both knowledge and technology transfer on topics related to ocean.
ICM-CSIC are responsible for Task 3.4 “Network and Support Networks who engage Citizens” which aim is to engage networks at different levels of maturity, scale and geography, in order to create a “community of practice” and facilitate pilots on citizen engagement. The team will also participate in other tasks of Work Package 3, as well as in several tasks of Work Packages 1, 2 and 6.
